Fundraiser for Kuya Jay & Ate Lei–migrant Filipino caregivers in San Francisco currently seeking justice from wage theft & exploitation
Come through for a lively celebration of cultural resistance as Diwa & Diwata share the stage for the very first time! These bands of activists & artists weave movement music from the early 2000s SF-based group Diskarte Namin, original songs from Excelsior born & raised cultural worker Amihan, and ballads of revolution from the Philippines–all to bridge our connected histories & struggles through collective performance, song & chant.
