Submit your work Liwanag Vol. 3
SOMA Pilipinas and Kearny Street Workshop are looking for artist submissions for the groundbreaking Pilipinx arts journal, Liwanag. The deadline has been extended to 8/23/20.
Following the re-issue of the seminal 1975 Filipino American arts anthology, Liwanag, SOMA Pilipinas is proud to announce a call for submissions for the newest entry into this series, Liwanag 3! As the original Liwanag, and the 1993 issue, Liwanag 2, amplified the voices of local, Bay Area Filipino American artists of those time periods, they’re bringing Liwanag back to showcase and reflect upon the evolution of the Pilipinx identity of today.
To submit and read the updated guidelines and editorial notes go to: https://www.somapilipinas.org/liwanag/submissions
