DARKHEART - A Concert Narrative by award-winning artist, singer, and songwriter Golda Sargento is a live theatrical experience that questions whether art can survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Set in a dystopic diaspora, we follow the story of Mary as she navigates an authority-controlled corporate kingdom with inner-dimensional entities- Art, Artist, and Heart as they search for the source of liberation. With live music from Bay Area’s own Chris “Burd” Quines - Guitar & Bass, Carlie Mari - Bass & Sound Design, and Blair Switch - Drums, captivating visual elements by shadow puppeteer Aureen Almario and projection artists Joan Osato, and led by Michelle Talgarow, this endeavor pushes the boundaries of the stage to immerse the audience in a world filled with revelry.
