Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau follows four lower class workers of color at the last auto-plant standing in Detroit during the Great Recession. We see them struggle under systemic oppression and despite not having control over what strains their finances, families, and futures, they choose to act through love. San Francisco is going through a transformation where its residents are struggling to liv amongst gentrification and an unsustainable economy. With themes of the working class, queerness, housing instability, etc. This play will remind us to be kind to one another in the face of systemic cruelty.
