Ramon Abad and the Bindlestiff Studio Puppet Crew present a KID-FRIENDLY live stream puppet performance with about 9 artists/storytellers via Zoom. Celebrate this fun-filled afternoon with the whole family and kids 5-11 years old in our own home!

Participating Artists

Ramon Abad is a Filipino American puppeteer, artist, and teacher. He makes his own puppets and has performed traveling puppet shows at various Filipino American festivals like UNDISCOVERED. He was a company member of theater groups like Bindlestiff Studio’s tongue in A mood and Larry Reed’s ShadowLight Productions.

Aureen Almario is Bindlestiff Studio's Artistic Director, a SFSU Asian American Studies teacher and a member of the Granny Cart Gangsters (an all-female Asian American comedy sketch troupe).

Oliver Wijayapala is an actor from San Francisco and works as the Out of School Time Programs Director in San Francisco's Chinatown.

Velasco Arts is an arts and culture family comprised of Omz, Lorna, Zoe, and Rzo living in Seattle by way of San Francisco.

Nicolette Dionisio is a Bindlestiff volunteer prop maker and graphics artist, Registered Nurse, and Geek Show troupe member.

Dino Ignacio is a designer, maker, dad and husband.

Nina Ignacio first learned puppetry from Ramon in a workshop at the Bindlestiff Alley and went to do more shadow puppetry for various Bindlestiff productions.

Julie Kuwabara is a Bay Area actor and is a member of Granny Cart Gangstas.

Thomas Paras is a Bindlestiff volunteer writer and producer, endurance athlete, craftsman, geek.

Alexis Dayers is a mom, Bindlestiff volunteer writer, actor and member of Granny Cart Gangsters.

Joel Cammarata is a dad, architect, pen plotter and bread-making hero.
