PLAYWRITING WITH CONRAD PANGANIBAN
Learn the fundamentals of playwriting with Bindlestiff Studio's resident artist, Conrad Panganiban. Understand the structure of a play, characters, plot, dialogue, etc through a collaborative workshop setting. This workshop meets virtually for 8 weeks to help you craft your 10-minute play. All levels are welcome.

About the facilitator:
Conrad A. Panganiban is a Filipino American playwright representing the San Francisco Bay Area. His plays include WELGA, ESPERANZA MEANS HOPE, INAY'S WEDDING DRESS, and RIVER'S MESSAGE. Conrad’s work has been produced and/or developed by Bindlestiff Studio (San Francisco, CA), CIRCA Pintig (Chicago, IL), MaArte Theatre Collective (San Diego, CA), Theatre NOVA (Ann Arbor, MI), the Sinag-tala Filipino Theatrical Performing Arts Association (Sacramento, CA), San Francisco Playhouse, and the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) (Quezon City, Philippines). He is also a co-screenwriter (with Drew Stephens and Emmanuel Romero) for the Award-Winning Short Film, PRINSESA. Playwriting honors include the James Milton Highsmith Award Winner (SFSU), National Ten-Minute Play Festival Finalist (Actors Theatre of Louisville), and Bay Area Playwrights Festival Semi-Finalist (Playwrights Foundation).
