About the facilitator:
Li-Leng has been working in theatre for over 20 years both on and off the stage. She has worked internationally in venues from The National Theatre in London and the equivalent in Australia, the Melbourne Theatre Company, to ancient castles in the UK and town squares in Poland. As a director, devisor, collaborator and an actor Li-Leng founded Fine Line Theatre Collective in Sydney with a group of similarly trained performers, their first piece Walk Me! won a Sydney Fringe Theatre Award and went on to be studied by Drama teachers across Sydney and NSW. Li-Leng most recently worked as the movement director on Maria Isabella for Bindlestiff’s Tagalog Festival. She believes a director’s role should be to inspire, support and help their actors flourish, whilst creating powerful, life changing and innovative theatre.
